Tess Makes an S is a story of a young girl battling various letters on her quest to be better understood. The snake-like S is her most formidable opponent and to best him, Tess has to dig deep for strength and resolve. At the heart of Tess is a story relatable to any child striving toward a goal or working to overcome a challenge.

After growing up in the wilds of Maine, I migrated down the coast to the big city of Boston, and it’s been home ever since. This is where I’ve raised kids, run marathons, and survived multiple home renovations. I love words, books, and putting pen to paper.
